Article introduction
This article examines BRICS’s role in managing security challenges in the Middle East. Using a descriptive–analytical method and game-theoretic framework, it analyzes the mechanisms and effectiveness of BRICS security cooperation.
The findings show that BRICS can, through diplomatic approaches, conflict-resolution mechanisms, and regional cooperation, enhance its role in strengthening Middle East security and generating security synergies. However, concerns such as potential power struggles, lack of trust among members, divergent national interests, geopolitical tensions, and competing alliances may hinder the full realization of such cooperation.
